Thanks for sharing this, I really do believe that Vinnie was in his prime around this time (still is though! heh) and the performances here are just astounding (when you can hear them!).

I was so impressed by what I heard that I spent a couple of hours doctoring this thing up in GoldWave and then importing into Nuendo for more audio processing/fixing.

In the end I have a REALLY decent sounding version of this superb clinic. It no longer sounds like you are listening to it from another room with a blanket over your head.

It opens with a Tooch piece, if i remember correctly it's off his first ['88] or 2nd solo disc, or off his instructl video; originally unaccompanied...just bass, & i think w Chick doing some incidental percussion. Can't quite remember the name of it, tho. [img]redface.gif[/img]
